Dear friends,

I forward below a message from Alex Lorz who is looking for fellow ivy league alumns in the Nuremberg / Erlangen area to get a regular IvyCircle meetup started.

Hans Christian

Dear Yale Alumni,
As a Cambridge Alumnus, I had a great time earlier this summer at an evening with alumni of leading American and British universities organized in Vienna.

That made me wonder if it would be possible to organize a similar initiative for the Erlangen/Nürnberg area in Germany.

I then searched for similar events and found the Ivy Circle in Germany.

I am already in touch with Geoffrey Samuels who is heading the Ivy Circle Berlin chapter.

Thanks to the support from the Berlin & Munich chapter, it is a great pleasure to invite you for an informal meeting to discuss organizing an Ivy Circle Erlangen-Nuernberg chapter.

If you are interested, please click the link below and register

Mi. 4. Dezember 2019
18:30 Uhr – 22:00 Uhr MEZ
Hauptstraße 60

Thank you very much

Best Wishes

Yale Club of Germany Prize

We are in the “quiet phase” of a long-term program to raise at least €20,000, with an eventual goal of €100,000, to endow this award for presentation to exceptional high school students in Germany who have been accepted to Yale. If you are interested in learning more about how you can contribute to this worthy effort, please contact the club treasurer. Meanwhile, thanks to those who have contributed recently!

The Club does not assess dues, but asks its members to make an modest annual contribution (€20 suggested, but any amount is welcome) to help fund Club activities such as the Yale Book Award.
