DESCRIPTION:Join us in Munich for a special evening with Prof. Arne Westad\
 , the Elihu Professor of History and Global Affairs at Yale. He'll be spea
 king about US-China Relations in light of the Ukraine War. The evening wi
 ll be moderated by Ambassador Eric Nelson\, Associate Director of the Geor
 ge C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies .\n\nThe Russian aggre
 ssion against Ukraine began at a time when global tension was already runn
 ing high.  What will the effects of the war be on relations between the U
 nited States and China\, a relationship deemed by many to be key to future
  peace and stability?  Will the Chinese leadership continue its de facto 
 backing of Russia?  And will Russia’s leaders accept a subservient rela
 tionship to China as a price they have to pay for the war?  In this talk\
 , Professor Westad will discuss these issues in light of lessons from hist
