Thanks to the generosity of a few, I'm thrilled to report that we have made our goal of €2000 to be able to sponsor a post-graduate stipend through the Bavarian American Academy for a very deserving student to spend time researching at Yale at the Gilder Lehrmann Center. Thank you to all who donated, especially Heidelberg alum Herbert A. Jung and Munich alum Alexander Mogg.

Are you interested in representing our group as a delegate at the Yale Alumni Association Assembly and Convocation in New Haven November 14-15, 2024? Our current delegate cannot make it, so the spot is open. From the YAA:

We are excited to announce that Assembly and Convocation, hosted by the Yale Alumni Association and Yale Alumni Fund, will be held on November 14 - 15, 2024 in New Haven. The programs will offer insights on the theme:

Leading for a Better World:
Advancements in Health,
Historical Inquiry, and the Environment at Yale

You will have the opportunity to participate in tours, networking opportunities, faculty lectures, and more throughout the two-day event. Helpful Information:

Assembly and Convocation programs will begin on Thursday morning and run until Friday evening after the Yale Medal dinner and ceremony.

If you plan to stay for activities on Saturday, November 16, you can book a hotel under the same rate, however you will need to purchase tickets directly from the event presenter (e.g. athletics, drama, museum).

If you are interested, please contact me asap directly at president@yaleclub.de by August 22nd.

Finally, a huge thanks to Yalie Alexander Adiarte in Stuttgart, we have two wonderful events upcoming - both well worth a trip if you are nearby!

Boola Boola,

Bartley
