Dear Members of the Yale family in Germany,

We had a great evening in Munich with Franklin Foer and our own member Dr. Johannes Thimm moderating on February 1st. If you missed it (pity - the reception was fun!), you can catch it on YouTube here.

Munich Dialogues on Democracy has a blockbuster lineup this spring to deal with this mega-election year. There are over 70 elections worldwide. That is rare, but we've got it covered. Join us in Munich for an evening with Yale Prof. Ian Shapiro on February 22nd, where he'll talk about his brand new book Uncommon Sense and angry populist politics.

We are looking for volunteers to help with a book table before and after the event - if you are in Munich and can help, thanks for reaching out (president@yaleclub.de). If you had Prof. Shapiro at Yale and would like to join a smaller reception with him, let us know!

I've added a couple of save-the-dates for events in March and May that we'd love to see you at.

As always, if you are interested in organizing a Stammtisch/Hike/Cocktail in your town, we're happy to help you publicize it.

Boola Boola,

Bartley
