Dear fellow Berlin Yalies,

after a long period without any Yalie events in Berlin, I thought it's high time to organize a little get-together. If you can make it next Wednesday, please join us at TUMO! If you can't make it at 6:30pm but want to join us later for drinks/food, give me a call at +491781345800 to see where we ended up ;)

If you can't make it at all, but would love to see more events in the future and are willing to help put this together, get in touch with me!

Finally, the Yale Spizzwinks have contacted the Club regarding their upcoming tour stop in Berlin. If you have any leads, let me know or contact Adam directly.

Hope to see many of you soon!

A message from the Yale Spizzwinks

My name is Adam McPhail, and I am reaching out as the summer tour manager for the Spizzwinks of Yale University, the oldest underclassmen a cappella group in the United States. After a two year hiatus, we are going back on tour and will be in the Berlin in late May. The 'Winks would love to sing for any events the Yale Club is hosting or to gain more information for any potential concert venues, useful contacts, or information regarding accommodations would be greatly appreciated.

Since 1914, the Spizzwinks have entertained audiences with over 700 original musical arrangements and our signature tongue-in-cheek humor. Our performances range from 30-75 minutes and our robust music library allows us to customize our setlists to cater to specific audiences.

These past few years have been particularly difficult for performing groups like ourselves. We will be flexible in regards to the ongoing pandemic, and we understand that many are still navigating things cautiously given the public health concerns.

I would love to discuss with you whether a performance from the Yale Spizzwinks might be of interest to the Yale Club of Berlin to any member involved with the club. I think our combination of stellar musicianship and fun humor would be a great entertainment for anyone.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. I have attached a few videos of our recent performances for you to check out!

Best Regards,
Adam
