Greetings to the Yale Community in Germany,

SPECTRUM CONCERTS BERLIN – One of Berlin’s unique music organizations was founded by Yale graduate Frank Sumner Dodge in 1988. After our successful cooperation on September 29th, Frank would like to extend an invitation to Yale Club members to attend the next performance on October 13 at the Berliner Philharmonie.

Here is the link to the e-tickets for Yale Club members:

With thanks to Frank for the offer – and in the hopes that many in the Yale community enjoy the evening!

WHIM 'N RHYTHM COMING TO GERMANY

We have been contacted by the Germany tour manager of Whim 'n RhythmYale University's premier all-senior a cappella group. They are currently in the process of planning their international tour for the summer (May-July) of 2026 and will be touring Munich and Berlin during late June and early July.

"Given the Yale Club of Germany's appreciation for Yale and the arts, we hoped to see if The Yale Club of Germany would be interested in providing housing or performance opportunities!

Whim 'n Rhythm was originally founded in 1981, and consists of the most talented soprano-alto seniors in Yale’s Class of 2026. Our performance experience spans domestic and international destinations, including the White House, U.S. embassies across four continents, and for Former President Bill Clinton and Former Secretaries of State Hillary Clinton and John Kerry. You can hear our most recent album here. All of our music is arranged by students, dating back to music predating the group's founding to brand new arrangements from the Class of 2026, spanning genres ranging from jazz standards to soulful ballads to pop and rock classics. Our group performs customizable 15-90 minute performances and a cappella workshops. Whim ‘n Rhythm is a 501(c)(3), completely student-led organization. To help offset the costs of travel and housing for our 14 members, we often offer flexible rates for our performances.

Whim ‘n Rhythm would love to perform for you! If any Yale Club of Germany members would be able to contribute to housing possibilities, we would also appreciate any help. Thank you in advance for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you soon."

If you are interested in helping out, providing housing or concert opportunities, please let me know at president@yaleclub.de

Thanks and Boola Boola,

Bartley
