If you’re living outside of Frankfurt and need a reason to visit, here are three great ones you can build a weekend around. Join us for a private guided tour (in English) of this new exhibition at the Fotografie Forum Frankfurt. Featuring photographs from the 1950s to the present day, the exhibition focuses on Japanese female photographers and their perspectives on everyday life and society in Japan. Works by more than 20 artists from different generations are on display, including Yanagi Miwa, Kawauchi Rinko, and Ushioda Tokuko. From traditional documentaries to contemporary experiments, their work is characterized by a wide range and diversity. Tickets are €12, including admission to the musuem. Hawa Open Air at FRA Airport Sunday 14:00-22:00
Frankfurt Airport is reknown for many reasons, one of which is this open-air dance festival on the Visitors Terrace. Tickets are €39, and must bepurchased directly from Hawa.
